From October 6th to 19th, a 500-meter stretch of Cheonggyecheon, between Ogansu Bridge and Beodeul Bridge, will host the unique ‘BTS THE CITY ARIRANG SEOUL Cheonggyecheon Walkway,’ adorned with symbols representing the global superstars. Furthermore, on October 21st and 22nd, the Banpo Bridge Moonlight Rainbow Fountain will feature a spectacular water show choreographed to BTS’s beloved music, offering fans a truly magical experience. An extensive deployment of 99 fire trucks and 765 fire personnel will be strategically positioned across three critical zones: Gwanghwamun/Sejong-daero intersection, Sejong-daero/City Hall Station intersection, and the immediate stage area. The police force will also deploy significant resources to proactively mitigate any potential threats, including vehicle intrusions, explosives, or drones. To address restroom needs, a staggering 2,399 public and mobile toilets have been secured, with plans to increase this number to 2,535 by the event day.
Commuters and attendees should note significant traffic and subway adjustments. To minimize congestion and ensure safety, Gwanghwamun Station (Line 5), City Hall Station (Lines 1 & 2), and Gyeongbokgung Station (Line 3) will be bypassed without stopping, and their exits closed. Euljiro 1-ga Station (Line 2) may also implement non-stop passage if congestion levels demand. Subway safety personnel will be quadrupled from 111 to 461 on the day of the event.
